Location Scouting Support 

The program provides scouting teams including foreign directors, assistant directors, producers, cinematographers/art directors, and location managers for international feature films, documentaries, and series. In-kind support for accommodation expenses (6 nights for location managers, 30 nights for directors and production designers) are provided.

Location in-kind incentives

The program offers the production expenditure with a minimum of 20 million KRW to maximum 40 million KRW on international feature films, TV or web series on the condition of shooting for more than 7 days in Busan.

※ Among production expenditure, accommodation, fuel, and meals are paid directly by BFC, and filming location rental are refunded in cash.

※ Priority: Projects renting the Jeju studios for a long term (over 30 days)

Jeju Screenplay Development Support

The program assists Asian projects (feature films, TV/web series and documentaries) in development based on Jeju. Transportation, accommodation, meals expenses etc. used for development during stay in Jeju will be refunded up to 7.5 million KRW through Korean co-production companies or PS companies. Refunds also include international airfares.

SFC provides a cash rebate in the amount of up to 30% of the production costs (location spending) for internationally co-produced and foreign projects shot in Seoul.

•Films, documentaries, TV and web series with minimum runtime of 60 minutes

•Up to 300 million KRW per production. 

•Shoot more than 4 days in Seoul

•Submit one signed distribution contract or pre-sales agreement for the project

Location Scouting Support 

The program assists directors or producers with projects planning to shoot in Seoul (feature films, TV series, etc.) with three days of scouting fees, including round-trip airline tickets for up to two people (economy class) and accommodation costs for up to 1,200,000 KRW(up to 

200,000 KRW per day/per person), logistical services of a domestic location coordinator, and a rental car or money equivalent thereto for 3 days. 

Seoul Screenplay Development 

The program assists any projects (feature films, documentaries etc.) in development with Seoul as a location; it offers round-trip flight tickets for two (economy class), one work space (hotel or residence selected by SFC) for a maximum of 30 days per project, and location tours as they write and do research for their screenplays.
